DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION DOUG DUCHATEAU NOMINATED FOR 2011 OREGON PGA TEACHER OF THE YEAR
 
     Every year nominations are submitted to the Oregon Chapter of the PGA of America for teacher of the year by the body of PGA members within the chapter, section or national membership population. This is the second occasion on which Precision Golf School's Director of instruction Doug DuChateau has been nominated in the last four years. The award cannot be campaigned for, it is simply based on unsolicited recognition offered by professional peers. In the process of being nominated, each candidate is required to submit the criteria upon which they believe they are deserving of final consideration. It is a great opportunity to look at innovative programs that have been offered, particularly successful competitive students that have been affiliated with the school, and provide an overview of the philosophy and curriculum that drive the everyday operations of the school. Within any profession, it is a highly encouraging event to be recognized for the accomplishments and successes that motivate and drive one's overall passion for the profession.
